Rooster Blackspur was born and raised in Alaska, the daughter of a dog musher, and shaped by the wild expanse of the Last Frontier. Described as “equal parts Johnny Cash grit and outsider revival preacher,” she carries that frontier spirit into her music, weaving raw storytelling with threads of Western, folk, and unholy gospel. An old-time journeyer with a modern voice, Rooster writes from the wild edges of experience—where grit, soul, and a little bit of the untamed meet.
Bella Cooper is a Bend-based singer-songwriter whose narrative writing style and honest instrumentation lets you feel like she is walking the listener home, waxing together about what it means to learn from heartbreak, grief, and joy. She is also the driver behind the wheel of local indie-rock outfit Chiggi Momo.

Joel Chadd & Sturtz
November 13th | 6-8pm
Joel Chadd is a Bend, Oregon–based folk Americana songwriter whose music lives in the space between quiet reflection and shared experience. Rooted in thoughtful storytelling and warm, melodic arrangements, his songs invite listeners to slow down, lean in, and recognize themselves somewhere in the lines. Influenced by folk and roots traditions while embracing a modern sense of dynamics and texture, Joel’s writing explores love, distance, change, and the subtle moments that shape how we understand one another.
NPR’S ALL SONGS CONSIDERED DESCRIBED STURTZ AS “A REASSURING BREATH OF FRESH AIR THAT PULLS ME BACK TO SIMPLER TIMES." The group is serene and folksy, with melodic vocals soaring over the lower string instrumentals. Sturtz released their second studio album Hyacinth in September 2024, and they're hard at work writing songs for their next album now. When they’re not playing music, you’ll probably find the members of Sturtz milling flour, gardening, roasting coffee, or honing in on their photography skills.
Sun Dive with Travis Ehrenstrom
Dreamo indie four piece Sun Dive brings together multi instrumentalists from backgrounds playing in bands in New Zealand, Oregon and California. Fronted by Erin Cole-Baker’s vocals and vibrato washed Jazzmaster guitar, Sun Dive creates a soundscape - at times bringing the melodic hooks, and always surrounded by ambient space echoes. A sound in the realms of Slow Pulp, Crumb, and The War On Drugs.
Travis Ehrenstrom is a singer-songwriter from Sisters, Oregon, now based in Bend. Raised on the Sisters Folk Festival and mentored at its songwriting camps from age fourteen, he writes story-first songs in the lineage of John Prine and Jackson Browne. Over nearly two decades he has released fifteen records between his solo work and the Travis Ehrenstrom Band, shared stages with Jackson Browne, The Head and The Heart, and Leftover Salmon, and earned an honorable mention in the 2026 Telluride Troubadour Contest for his song "Arrival."
December 11th | 6-8pm
Nathaniel Talbot
January 15th | 6-8pm
Nathaniel Talbot’s music has dirt under its fingernails, the product of decades of hard work and crafting – retuning, replanting, and retelling. The result is true American roots music that combines the soulful edge of tradition with the Pacific Northwest’s legacy of freedom and innovation.
“Challenging what folk music is capable of, Talbot’s powerful, uplifting voice harnesses a country twang complemented by lush acoustic finger-picking and a violin that feels like it was birthed next to a babbling brook in the mountains” – SEATTLE WEEKLY
Teen Songwriters in the Round Sponsored by Cascade School of Music
February 19th | 6-8pm

Each of Alicia’s songs is commanded by a voice that feels entirely human, turning moments of deep complexity and heartbreak into warm jazzy, country folk that finds easy paths into the heart, much like the musical moments she cherishes from her childhood. Viani tackles complex current events such as the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting and racism, but all in the gentle form of a personal story to invitingly navigate typically-avoided topics. The songs are wholly absorbing as they carry the listener from one private world to the next, each imploring to be discovered.
